BlockSafe Privacy Policy

BlockSafe is a fire door survey and compliance record system operated as a digital product of Northstone Group Ltd.

Information processed

During a pilot or live deployment, BlockSafe may process user account information, role/access details, building and door records, inspection records, defect records, QR sticker references, audit activity and uploaded inspection photographs where used.

Purpose of processing

Information is processed to provide fire door surveying, compliance record management, admin review, reporting and support services to authorised client organisations.

Access control

Access to BlockSafe is restricted to authorised users. The platform supports role-based access, including admin, supervisor and surveyor permissions.

Data security

BlockSafe uses authenticated access, protected database policies and private storage for client operational data. Administrative functions and data exports are restricted to authorised roles.

Data retention

Data retention arrangements will be agreed with each client as part of the pilot or service agreement. Client data can be reviewed, exported or removed in line with agreed operational and legal requirements.

Client responsibilities

Each client remains responsible for deciding what information is entered into the system and for ensuring that its users follow internal data protection and compliance procedures.
